In May 2026, Alan Chambers MBE, Aldo Kane and Billy Perham (all former Royal Marines) will attempt the Snowman Trek in Bhutan, one of the toughest treks in the world. The team will cover 362km across the Himalayas over 30 days, marking the 362nd birthday of the Royal Marines. Their route will cross eleven high mountain passes, reaching altitudes up to 5,000 metres.

The Brotherhood Walk aims to inspire the Royal Marines family to ‘walk and talk’, using the outdoors and physical activity to strengthen connections and support one another. Their goal is to raise over £100,000 for RMA/TRMC and further awareness of the ‘Lifting the Lid’ campaign - promoting positive mental health and suicide prevention.
