Nick Pounds commanded M Flight and with many others paints a personal and moving picture of what it is like to be in a front-line aviation unit. Operating light battlefield helicopters in an old fashioned conventional war, from violently pitching flight decks and from field locations ashore, all in a hostile air environment.
