Field and Blumberg are well known for writing the classic three volume history of the Royal Marines, Britain's Sea Soldiers. Soon after they published their epic work they discovered many previously unpublished letters that included many new unknown dits about Corps History. These they collected together and added histories of the Grand Divisions and Colours. Only ever privately published this is the first time these lost stories have been available to us all.
